Since the weather was so nice yesterday, I drew some inspiration from the sheer & lace trend and paired this crochet/lace tunic with a crop top & denim shorts.

This crochet tunic from Zara is one of my favorite pieces! It gives off a boho and urban style. I’ve been wearing it so much lately, because it can literally be paired with anything. I love its beautiful and intricate detail. It’s also great for layering! My crop top is from American Apparel and is a great basic item to have.

To make my outfit a bit more casual, I wore cut off denim shorts and I truly believe one can never have enough denim shorts. They are an absolute summer essential. These “Dream Chaser” high-waisted shorts are from For The Highness. This was my first time ordering from them and I can’t wait to order another pair! For me, the more distressed – the better. (Yes, I’m the one who pays more for my shorts to look destroyed.) These are distressed just the right amount and are super comfortable. For The Highness allows you to put in your measurements, so they are made just for you!

This wide waist belt is from Forever21. Adding a belt helps accentuate your waistline and pulls your outfit together, making it look more cohesive. It also helped cover a bit more of my mid drift.

This fringe bib statement necklace is also from Forever21. It added the perfect festive touch! Since I was wearing all neutral colors, I figured this colorful necklace would add some fun to my outfit. Plus, I was going out for margaritas with my girlfriends and these colors just make me think – “party!”
