When I can’t afford to splurge on make-up in Sephora, I turn to the next best thing -CVS! Every single time I walk into CVS, I always leave with some kind of new make-up or beauty product (they’re just so hard to resist!). Drugstore brands are a great alternative to the higher end make-up. Sometimes I even prefer them. I bought these awesome products the other day and just thought I’d share them with you guys, so you can try them for yourself!
Covergirl truMagic Skin Perfector and The Sunkisser Bronzer. With both being a cream instead of a powder, they are easy to apply, don’t appear cakey, and stay on better. The Skin Perfector gives a mattifying effect. I don’t normally use a mattifier, but I figured I’d give this one a shot. I’ll use a little over my make-up to tone down any oily spots and it’s super lightweight! The bronzer is also great too! I switch between so many bronzers during the summer, but I really like how natural this bronzer looks. It’s really blendable, so all you need is a little on your cheeks for that sun-kissed glow, hence the name.
LOVE NYX butter gloss! The colors Creme Brûlée and Eclair are so pretty! I normally like to wear lipgloss that has nude or pinkish tones. I’ve been mixing both together for just the right shade and it adds the right amount of shine!
Maybelline masterGlaze blush stick in Just-Pinched Pink is one of my new favorites! The color is a super soft pink and so natural. When you’re all done applying your make-up, dab a little on your cheeks for just the right amount of rosiness.
Lastly, my absolute favorite is L’Oreal Voluminious Miss Manga mascara! This is THE BEST. I love big, bold, and long lashes. This mascara does just that. Normally, I use different kinds of mascara and apply several coats to achieve that look, but this one is all I need. It’s brush is more flexible to help build volume, and I must say, it does a fantastic job!
