The holidays are my favorite time of year to dress up AND glam up your make-up…and since I’ve recently splurged in Sephora, I figured I’d do a review for my favorite make-up and holiday look!

Originally, I planned on only going to Sephora to find a new foundation, but who goes to Sephora and only buys one thing? Next thing I know, I’ve got foundation, concealer, eye liner, mascara,….and a cute travel case (because that’s what I really needed). I must say though, I am so glad I splurged, because I am absolutely loving all of my new products!

First up – Foundation. I’ve been using Urban Decay’s Naked Skin foundation for a while, which is great, but I like to switch up my foundation every once in a while. Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide is AMAZE. It’s super lightweight and leaves a flawless, fresh-faced finish. The color, Buff, was the most natural looking for me, which is a light-medium with cool undertones color. I also found that I don’t need to use alot to achieve the look I want and it lasts all day!

Make Up Forever Full Cover Concealer is the best concealer I have ever gotten. Previously I’ve used a concealer that brightens, which tends to be more sheer, and always felt like I needed more coverage. This concealer is highly pigmented and leaves a matte finish, which is exactly what I’ve been wanting. It’s very creamy, but light, so you only need a very small amount for full coverage.

Next is Benefit’s They’re Real! Mascara and Push-up liner. If you buy anything, let these be your next purchase! I’ve wanted to try them for quite some time and thanks to my sister who bought it first, I saw how amazing they are! Here’s why you need these: the liner makes it virtually impossible to ever mess up a cat eye again AND the mascara = lashes for daysss. Urban Decay’s Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder is perfect to dust on your cheeks and body for an instant glow. I bought it in “Luminous” which is like a champagne color. The powder is baked so it gives just the right amount of shimmer without looking metallic. It’s super light and smooth, just simply brush it wherever you’d like a radiant glow.

Lastly, Nyx lipstick in the color “Snow White.” I didn’t get this at Sephora but red lips are everything this season and perfect for the holidays. I love NYX lipstick. They have so many bold colors to choose from and very moisturizing. Finding the right shade of red can be hard, but this color is great one to start with!

For this holiday look I used of all these products and mainly focused on a subtle cat-eye and red lips. It’s perfect for a night our or holiday party!
